The role of Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily be conducted in a remote setting, allowing for a flexible work-life balance and the opportunity to connect deeply with patients. Our outpatient office model ensures that counselors can facilitate care and support without the constraints of a traditional office space, while still creating meaningful relationships with participants. Additionally, we support our counselors in obtaining state licensure by covering the associated fees for LMHC candidates who currently hold licensure in other states.
Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, detailing pre-crisis strategies, crisis response plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment protocols.
- Ensure that timely and accurate documentation is maintained, adhering to regulatory standards necessary for licensing and accreditation.
- Utilize evidence-based screening tools and assessments to evaluate client needs, facilitate treatment, and inform ongoing care strategies.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to craft and implement effective positive behavior support plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Engage actively in regulatory licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating compliance and excellence in service delivery.
- Serve as a liaison, connecting clients with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community organizations, to coordinate care effectively.
- Foster open communication channels within the community to enhance service delivery and uphold the mission and vision of Catalina Behavioral Health.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration with local, state, and federal agencies, while seeking out potential partnerships or funding opportunities that align with organizational goals.
- Commit to professional growth and development by attending relevant conferences, workshops, and community engagements that enrich expertise in mental health practices.
- Champion the agency's mission, values, and principles in every facet of your work, and assume additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.
