Job Responsibilities

As a BIM Coordinator with Lake HVAC you will be working in a fast paced construction environment driving exceptional quality and service for midsize to large commercial projects. Specific Responsibilities will include:
\n
\n
Review/Create 3D Models from General Contractors/Engineers Drawings
\n
· Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks Manage
\n
· Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
\n
· Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
\n
· Early design review and constructability analysis
\n
· Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
\n
· 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
\n
· 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks
\n
· Technical management of project BIM data sets
\n
· Perform Job site visits to for all coordination purposes
\n
- Meet w/ Foreman and Project Managers (PMs) during layout & submission process
\n
- Attend Coordination Meetings w/ clients and Lake PMs & Foreman as required
\n
· As-Built Documentation
\n
· Work with estimating department on project initiation, drawing distribution and manufacturer / subcontractor quotations
\n
\n
Job Qualifications
\n
Will need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, hardworking and have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Will need the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels. Specific qualification includes:
\n
\n
· Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD
\n
· Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures
\n
· Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
\n
· Completed coursework in Construction, Architecture or an equivalent combination of training and or work experience.
\n
· BIM knowledge and interest in working with Construction Technology
\n
· Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
\n
