Deloury Construction is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Field Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with GPS, machine control systems, total stations and advanced proficiency in CAD software.
Responsibilities
· Perform site surveys for civil construction projects using GPS equipment
· Set up and maintain machine control models and job files
· Collaborate with project managers and construction crews to provide accurate layout, staking, and as-built data
· Generate, update, and interpret CAD drawings for field operations
· Ensure data integrity and adhere to safety and quality standards
Requirements
· Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in heavy civil construction field surveying
· Strong working knowledge of GPS and machine control platforms - Trimble preferred
· Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, etc.)
· Ability to read and understand construction plans and specs
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· Valid driver’s license
