Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct preliminary mental health assessments and document comprehensive case histories from initial consultations through treatment completion, using electronic health record systems like AVATAR.
- Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through interviews and standardized evaluation tools, ensuring an accurate understanding of their needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention and recovery plans for a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, adjusting approaches based on progress and feedback.
- Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions to empower clients to explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe environment.
- Regularly monitor client progress against treatment goals, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive intervention strategies and ensure continuity of care.
- Follow up with clients’ psychiatrists and attending physicians to discuss treatment plans, adjustments, and hospitalizations when necessary.
- Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively implement strategies aimed at mitigating these challenges, fostering resilience and hope among clients.
- Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental and behavioral challenges faced by their loved ones, offering guidance and resources.

Qualifications\n

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
- A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
- Strong foundational knowledge in psychotherapy techniques and a commitment to staying updated on best practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
