Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced registered nurse with a strong background in operating room techniques, located in Quincy, MA. This role is a contract position offering a standard 13-week duration, ideal for nurses skilled in fast-paced, high-capacity surgical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a high-volume operating room setting.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.
- Adapt to a rotating schedule that includes day, evening, and night shifts.
- Perform duties on weekends and cover short calls as scheduled.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience in a high-capacity operating room.
- Ability to manage complex surgical cases and maintain composure in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, and nights.
Schedule/Hours:
- 4x10 or 4x12 hour shifts.
- Days: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri), 9:00 AM 7:30 PM (Wed).
- Evenings: 1:00 PM 11:00 PM for 4x10 shifts; 11:00 AM 11:00 PM for 4x12 shifts.
- Includes two weeks of night shifts per contract.
- Weekend shifts with 8 to 12-hour durations to fulfill contracted hours.
- Short call shifts scheduled twice every four weeks.
