Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time opportunity is available for an experienced Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within a K-12 school setting. This contract position requires 10-12 hours per month, beginning as soon as possible and concluding on June 17, 2026. The role involves servicing a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade across two school sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across the K-12 spectrum.
  • Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
  • Deliver services onsite between Brookline and Hollis school locations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active New Hampshire teaching licensure and certification specifically for Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
  • Proven school-based experience working with this student population.
  • Must be willing to travel between assigned school sites.
  • Completion of district fingerprinting prior to beginning employment.
  • Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process.
  • Commitment to serve a full semester under the contractual agreement.
