  • MICU RN Nights & EOW - 36hrs (Floating Required)
  • \n

  • 2 years of continuous MICU experience required
  • \n

  • Must be able to read Telemetry strips
  • \n

  • Unit Name: Level III Trauma Center Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with Med Surg Floating required
  • \n

  • 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
  • \n

  • Patient diagnoses include Substance Abuse/Overdose, severe Psychiatric conditions, DKA, Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, Renal Failure, Cardiogenic Shock
  • \n

  • Attendings and Residents present 24 hours/day
  • \n

  • Salem Hospital is a 400+ bed complex community facility with 220 Med Surg beds plus ICU, Maternity, etc.
  • \n

  • Years of Experience Required: 2+ years of Adult ICU experience, preferably MICU
  • \n

  • Floating Required: Yes, mostly Medical/Surgical Units, could be up to 4 or 5 patients
  • \n

  • Telemetry competency required
  • \n

  • Rotating Shifts Required: Day positions rotate between 7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a; Night shift does not rotate
  • \n

  • RN to Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to other Med/Surg areas
  • \n

  • Patient Population: All
  • \n

  • Bed Count: 20 beds
  • \n

  • EMR (Charting System): EPIC
  • \n

  • Active Massachusetts RN License required
  • \n

  • Telemetry competency required

  • Floating required on Medical/Surgical Units

    \n \n Schedule Information\n \n
  • 36 hours per week
  • \n

  • Nights and Every Other Weekend (EOW)
  • \n

  • Day positions rotate shifts between 7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a when needed
  • \n

  • Night shift does not rotate
  • \n
