Job Summary
Full Time Role - Center based position for young learners ages 2 - 6, 1 home based client
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our small, locally owned, BCBA driven team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience working with young children. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based behavioral therapy strategies to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) will be essential in providing effective interventions and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and goals.
- Develop and implement tailored behavior intervention plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Monitor and analyze data collection to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy.
Experience
- A minimum of one years of experience working in behavioral health settings, particularly with children.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Strong understanding of special education principles and practices related to behavioral therapy.
- Experience with data collection methods for tracking patient progress.
- Familiarity with medical records management is preferred but not required.
- A passion for improving the lives of individuals through effective behavioral interventions.
