Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated LPN or RN is needed on a contract basis to provide 1:1 healthcare support for a male Out of District student, assisting him throughout the school day and during transportation. There’s immediate need for the 25/26 school year with plans for summer coverage, and there is a strong likelihood for extension into the 26/27 school year, offering a reliable and meaningful assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Massachusetts nursing certificate (LPN or RN)
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged children in an educational environment strongly preferred
- Knowledgeable in care planning and individualized health services
- Ability to build rapport and foster trust with students, families, and educational staff
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing support for the student throughout the school day, including during transport to and from the school
- Follow individualized healthcare plans and implement prescribed medical protocols
- Monitor and assess the student's condition, providing timely interventions as needed
- Liaise with school faculty, healthcare providers, and parents to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation compliant with school and regulatory standards
This contract role is approximately 40-hours per week and follows the academic calendar, with additional dates possible. You’ll have the fulfillment of contributing directly to a student’s well-being and daily success.
