The Landscape Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, working on a small team under the guidance of the Landscape Manager. This position involves operating various landscaping machinery and manual tools to ensure healthy plant growth and visually appealing environments. The technician is responsible for both routine maintenance and landscape installation tasks at a single site, with regular on-the-job training to support skill development.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment including walker brand mowers, stander x mowers, weed whackers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, trucks, and trailers
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including greasing and oiling mowers
- Plant and install landscaping features according to specifications
- Maintain landscaped areas to ensure healthy plant growth and aesthetic appeal
- Conduct site cleanup to maintain safe and attractive work environments
- Interact courteously and professionally with customers and team members
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in landscaping
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques
- Skilled in operating landscaping equipment and manual tools
- Demonstrated physical stamina for demanding outdoor tasks
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively
