Residential Counselor – Seven Hills New Hampshire
Crotched Mountain School & Village | Greenfield, NH | Full-Time
About the Role
As a Residential Counselor, you create a safe, structured home environment where students can build daily living skills, practice positive behaviors, and experience personal success. You’ll be a steady, supportive presence in students’ day-to-day lives.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily routines, personal care, and independent living skills
- Implement IEPs and Individualized Life Plans (ILPs)
- Encourage positive behavior through consistency and empathy
- Lead and participate in therapeutic, skill-building activities
- Maintain documentation and take part in team meetings and training
Schedule — Multiple Options:
- Front-End Week: Sun 7:00am–10:00pm; Mon–Wed 2:00pm–10:00pm
- Back-End Week: Wed–Fri 2:00pm–10:00pm; Sat 7:00am–10:00pm
- Overnights: Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat 9:45pm–7:15am
- Day Shift Option: Mon–Fri 7:00am–3:00pm (ask during intro call)
What You Bring
- Age 21+ with high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable supporting individuals with significant needs and behaviors
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
Plus ONE of the following:
- Associate degree or higher with 12+ related credits (education, psychology, sociology, etc.)
- 2 years (3,000 hours) of direct experience with children or adults in a similar setting
- Parent and caregiver of a child age 7+
Hourly Rate:
$20.50
