What You'll Need to Qualify:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
- Passion for helping children in a school setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
- At least three professional references, including your most recent supervisor (required before interviewing)
- Proof of one of the following:
- Paraprofessional II certificate
- Transcripts showing post-secondary credits equivalent to an Associate's degree
- Completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers and students, including individual and small group assistance
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere
- Implement lesson activities under teacher direction
- Support students with varying needs in academic and social settings
- Monitor student progress and contribute to maintaining classroom order
- Assist with classroom organization and materials
What to Expect:
- Full-time schedule during the school year (32.5 hours per week, 8:05am–3:05pm)
- Opportunity to work from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027
- $45 per hour compensation
