POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the VP of Facilities & Transportation, the full-time Receptionist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Lyndon Center headquarters of Cape Abilities. In addition, this position provides administrative and fundraising support as needed.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answers front desk phone and directs calls and other inquiries.
  • Receive and process incoming donations.
  • Administrative ad hoc support as needed.

Distribution and management of agency mail and messages

  • Responsible for sorting and distributing mail.
  • Serves as the point person for mailing and shipping needs for our Lyndon facility.
  • Checks general office voicemail and forwards messages to their appropriate recipients or follows up with inquiries.

Oversight of daily operations of Lyndon Center

  • Responsible for directing visitors and checking in appointments, including management of visitor and staff sign-in sheets.
  • Handles and delivers sensitive documents and mail, including sorting and logging checks and confidential forms.
  • Other duties as assigned
