Cardiovascular Technologist (Echo Tech) – travel assignment in Saint Johnsbury Center, Vermont, United States. Start date: 09/14/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,783–$1,858 per week. Guaranteed hours: 32 per week. Shift: Days. Setting: critical access hospital. This role focuses on performing high-quality diagnostic echocardiography studies and supporting patient-centered cardiovascular care in a community-focused, acute-care environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms, limited studies, contrast studies, and bubble studies according to departmental protocols and professional standards.
- Obtain diagnostic-quality images and measurements to support interpretation by cardiologists, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Use clinical judgment to evaluate patient history, optimize imaging, recognize significant abnormalities, and communicate urgent findings when appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient patient care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical settings.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum one year of echocardiography experience.
- Travel experience required.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler principles, and echocardiographic imaging techniques.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with physicians and care teams.
