Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a full-time paraprofessional position working with middle school students for the current school year, from ASAP through June 2026. Located in Lebanon, NH, this contract role offers 32 to 37.5 hours per week and is ideal for individuals with experience supporting behavior management in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist middle school students with classroom activities and learning support
- Provide behavior management and support tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote positive learning environments
- Support students social, emotional, and academic growth throughout the day
- Communicate effectively with educators and team members about student progress
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting, preferably middle school
- Background in behavior support or behavior management
- Ability to engage students and foster a safe, supportive learning space
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to adapt to various student needs and classroom dynamics
