Job DescriptionStep Into a High-Impact Maintenance Role

When the facility quiets down at night, your work keeps everything moving. At 10:00 p.m., you clock in, review priorities with the Maintenance Shift Supervisor and Maintenance Manager, and dive into diagnostics across electronic controls, conveyors, production machinery, and support equipment. By 6:30 a.m., you’ve executed preventive maintenance, coached a Mechanic I, and closed out critical repairs that protect uptime and quality.

3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Competitive Pay: On average, as a Mechanic II, you could expect to make $100,000/year.
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 total — $2,000 after 6 months; $3,000 after 12 months.
  • Pay for Performance: Up to $400/month based on company performance (up to $4,800/year).
  • Attendance Incentives: Earn up to $2,000/year for perfect attendance (per company guidelines).

What You’ll Do

  • Drive advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical and mechanical issues using technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.
  • Independently find and replace defective or worn components to keep production running.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations without compromise.
  • Keep your area organized, safe, and efficient.
  • Guide and coach Mechanic I associates to hit shift goals and project milestones.
  • Take on additional duties or special projects as assigned.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years as a Maintenance Mechanic; experience in food manufacturing or pharma preferred.
  • MA Fireman 2 License and/or Ammonia Operator 1 Certification preferred.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License (required).
  • Ability to work independently; expert with hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of cGMP/GMP standards and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent time management, organization, multitasking, and teamwork with technicians and trades.
