Job Description:

• The Emergency Nurse provides care to patients with urgent or critical illness, patients requiring emergency care and patients seeking treatment for non-urgent care.
• Triages patients according to care requirements and provides ongoing assessment of their condition, immediate interventions and discharge teaching.
• Provides care to those within any of the following populations: pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric and with those of adult age on an inter-disciplinary level; must be able to effectively interact appropriate to individual's intellectual level and physical ability.

Requirements:

• 2 years of RN emergency room experience required.
• Active RN State license, ACLS, BLS, PALS certification & CPI or MOAB - required.
