Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Bristol, VT is seeking three full-time Behavior Interventionists for the 2025-2026 school year. These positions, also referred to as Educational Assistants, are school-based and focus on providing behavior support to K-12 students with special needs, including Autism and mobility challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 1:1 behavioral caseloads, supporting multiple students throughout the school day
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and specialists
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to encourage positive behavioral outcomes
- Assist with mobility and other special needs as required
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in behavior support or intervention
- Strong understanding of behavioral interventions and strategies, especially related to Autism and special needs
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 students in various school environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and families
