Are you passionate about helping students achieve their fullest physical potential? An exciting part-time opportunity is available for a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide services for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role spans August 2026 through June 2027 and focuses on students across K-12 settings, making a real impact on students’ educational journeys.
You’ll work three days per week (20-25 hours), collaborating with school staff and families to deliver quality therapy and support student success throughout the district. Your expertise will help create safe environments, enhance mobility and function for students, and ensure appropriate strategies are in place to address each student's unique needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience with school-aged children (K-12) is highly desired
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple school sites as needed
- Knowledge of IEPs, assessment tools, and documentation requirements for school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and carry out PT interventions for K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings, communicating progress and collaborating on student goals
- Develop activities that promote student participation, safety, and accessibility in educational settings
- Document progress and maintain timely, compliant records
- Provide training/support to teachers, staff, and families as needed
