Enhance student support services by guiding a skilled team of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants in a dynamic school environment for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity involves providing on-site clinical oversight and mentorship, ensuring quality therapy services for students. Two licensed Occupational Therapists are needed to supervise and collaborate with a dedicated group of COTAs within a supportive public school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license, valid in New Hampshire.
- Demonstrated experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), preferably in educational settings.
- Strong background in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to pass required background checks.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical supervision to assigned COTAs, supporting appropriate service delivery and professional growth.
- Provide approximately 7 hours of supervision per COTA each month, on-site within public schools.
- Maintain thorough supervision documentation and complete necessary administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with school staff and COTAs to promote compliance and best practices.
- Act as a resource for the school community in upholding high standards of occupational therapy care.
Work Details:
- Location: On-site at schools in the Claremont area
- Schedule: Part-time roles with up to 20 hours monthly or full-time up to 37.5 hours weekly.
- Travel reimbursement provided at IRS mileage rates for commute to Claremont.
