Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Bring your expertise as a Special Education Teacher and make an impact supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity is based near Enfield, NH, and spans from August 2026 through June 2027. The school seeks dedicated professionals who are passionate about guiding students with diverse learning needs. Two to three positions are available, primarily at the high school level, with the potential addition of an elementary or preschool role.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification in Special Education
- Prior experience working in a school setting is required
- Strong understanding of case management and IEP process
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and academic support to students with disabilities
- Case manage students on IEPs, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Participate in school meetings, evaluations, and required professional development
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that promotes growth and belonging
