Crew Leader – Lawn & Landscape Maintenance
Ben's Lawn & Landscape is looking for an experienced Crew Leader to join our growing team. We take pride in maintaining some of the highest-quality residential and commercial properties in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. If you have a strong work ethic, take pride in your work, and can lead a crew to deliver exceptional results every day, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Lead a lawn maintenance crew while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Operate Walker riding lawn mowers
- Trim and edge lawns with precision
- Maintain clean, crisp landscape beds
- Perform seasonal cleanups
- Install mulch and plant material
- Ensure every property is completed to perfection
- Safely drive a company truck while towing equipment trailers
- Train and motivate crew members while maintaining a positive work environment
- Communicate professionally with customers when needed
Requirements
- Substantial, hands-on lawn and landscape maintenance experience (required)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to lead, motivate, and work alongside a team
- Experience operating Walker lawn mowers
- Proficient with string trimming and edging
- Experience with landscape bed maintenance, mulching, and planting
- Comfortable driving a truck with a trailer
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
