About the Role
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer for one of our top partners in the medical device manufacturing industry. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the migration to and implementation of a structured DITA-based content management system using Madcap IXIA.
This position requires a blend of technical expertise, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities. The ideal candidate has experience developing user-facing instructional manuals and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud. Familiarity with DITA-based structured component content management systems is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and migration into a component content management system (CCMS).
- Document processes and workflows during the transition from unstructured to structured content systems.
- Collaborate with content strategists, labeling designers, and external consulting teams to ensure a seamless CCMS implementation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across the organization to maintain alignment and ensure project success.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Technical Communication, Library Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, content administration, technical documentation, or CMS management.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with DITA and structured content management systems is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare, life sciences, or diabetes-related products is a plus.
- Ability to comprehend medical, clinical, and technical aspects of complex devices and processes.
