This position offers a welcoming and flexible remote work environment, empowering you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home. While the core working hours are set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we recognize that adapting to patients' needs may require some schedule flexibility. Our office is equipped with advanced telehealth technology to ensure seamless and effective communication with our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' needs, strengths, and challenges, forming the foundation for personalized treatment plans.

  • Provide individual, couple, and family therapy using established evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
  • \n

  • Lead psychoeducational support groups, offering clients a sense of community while addressing prevalent mental health concerns.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care, sharing insights and strategies during case consultations.

  • Facilitate crisis intervention services to assist clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and empathy.
  • \n

  • Educate patients on their mental health conditions and treatment options, while connecting them with necessary community resources to foster ongoing support.

  • Ensure accurate and secure documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards.

  • Participate actively in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and case reviews to remain informed about advancements in the field of mental health.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in Massachusetts.
  • \n

  • Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, with an emphasis on client-centered care.

  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and tailor treatment plans effectively to meet the unique needs of each client.

  • Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals and groups, with competency in meeting the challenges of various populations.

  • Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems, along with general computer applications necessary for remote therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of mental health counseling experience is required, candidates with experience in outpatient settings and specialties such as trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, or pediatric therapy will be given preference.
