A friendly family in Groton is seeking a long-term, part-time nanny to join their family beginning in early January 2027 (flexible for the right candidate). This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with infants and young children, as you'll partner closely with mom while helping care for two little boys and welcoming twin girls in the spring. The family is looking for a dependable, proactive nanny who enjoys being hands-on, values teamwork, and is excited to grow with a family for years to come.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- 3+ years of relevant childcare experience
- Experience caring for both infants and toddlers/preschool-aged children
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Non-smoking candidate
- Tdap vaccination required
Responsibilities
Childcare
- Partner with mom to care for four young children, including an infant, toddler, and newborn twins after their arrival
- Bottle feeding, diaper changes, and supporting infant routines
- Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities for the children
- Prepare children's meals and snacks
- Take the older children on outings, walks, and local activities
- Support developmental milestones through play and daily routines
- Help create a calm, organized environment as the family transitions to life with four children
Household Support as time allows
- Children's laundry
- Dishes and bottle cleaning
- Light tidying and daily household resets
- Help keep children's spaces organized
- General support to help the household run smoothly
About the Family
This family is preparing to welcome twin girls in April and is looking for a nanny who will work collaboratively with mom as they adjust to their growing family. The role will initially be very team-oriented, with the nanny and mom working together to support the children’s routines and daily needs. As everyone settles into a new rhythm, there may be opportunities for the nanny to have short periods of time caring for the children independently. Their oldest child is expected to begin preschool next fall, which will naturally allow the schedule and responsibilities to evolve over time. The family also has a very friendly dog in the home, so they are looking for someone who enjoys being around pets. They are excited to find someone who will grow with their family and become a trusted, long-term part of their household.

Position Details
- Location: Groton, MA
- Schedule: Approximately 5 hours per day, 4–5 days per week (ideal start time around 11:00 AM–12:00 PM)
- Hours: 20–25 hours per week (guaranteed hours)
- Start Date: January 2027 (flexible for the right candidate)
- Compensation: $40–$45 per hour BOE; taxes withheld
