Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting student growth and success in a district-wide, contract role as a school psychologist in the vibrant Springfield area. This position encompasses service across K-12 buildings, providing you the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and impact the school community holistically.

Your expertise will help foster safe, inclusive learning environments and support the emotional, academic, and behavioral needs of students. Work with four school buildings and enjoy a consistent schedule of 35-37.5 hours each week for the 2026–2027 academic year, running from late August to mid-June.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Vermont School Psychologist Certificate (required)
  • Experience as a school psychologist in K-12 settings preferred
  • Strong collaborative skills for working across multiple buildings
  • Demonstrated commitment to student well-being and academic achievement
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological services—including assessment, counseling, and intervention—for a diverse K-12 student population
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address students’ behavioral and academic concerns
  • Develop and facilitate programs promoting social-emotional wellness and a positive school climate
  • Support crisis intervention and create plans for prevention and support
