Job DescriptionWe have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Portsmouth, NH or Concord, NH surrounding area.
This role works under the direction of a Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager and is responsible for delivering engineering solutions consistent with project scope and industry standards.
The Senior Project Engineer will lead medium to large projects or tasks, direct junior staff in coordination with project leadership, communicate with clients and regulatory officials, prepare and review technical documents, support proposals and contracts, develop design solutions, and stay involved through construction support and issue resolution. Travel is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead medium to large projects or tasks.
- Direct junior staff in coordination with PM leadership.
- Communicate with clients and regulatory officials.
- Prepare and review drawings, reports, technical memorandums, and permit-related work.
- Support scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Perform site visits and construction support.
- Help resolve construction issues.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
- Six years of engineering experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must be proficient with or able to learn specific engineering design/modeling software in area of specialty.
- Bluebeam experience preferred.
- Valid PE license in the state employed, or ability to obtain within six months.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 10 Hour OSHA Training Certificate.
