Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Kingston, NH, supporting students in Life Skills classrooms within both middle and high school settings. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, serving a dedicated caseload of students in grades 6-8 or 9-12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and support in Life Skills curricula for middle or high school students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including parents, educators, and support staff to enhance student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with special education regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification in Special Education required.
• Experience teaching Life Skills curriculum to middle or high school students preferred.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
