Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments through initial interviews, documenting client case histories, diagnosis, and treatment progress.

  • Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to identify areas requiring intervention.

  • Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, or groups based on their specific needs and treatment goals.

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and methodologies that align with current best practices.

  • Monitor client progress consistently throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention strategies.

  • Manage referrals and follow-up with healthcare providers as needed for clients who have been admitted to hospitals.

  • Educate family members and primary caregivers on mental and behavioral challenges, equipping them with tools to support the client's recovery journey.

Our counseling center serves a diverse population, including individuals from various age groups, backgrounds, and cultural identities. The patients we engage with may face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, and addiction. Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • \n

  • Demonstrated clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, showing proficiency in therapeutic practices.

  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.
  • \n

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience treating clients with co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, as well as substance use disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus.
