Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant for the entire upcoming school year. This full-time role, located near Manchester, NH, runs from September 3rd through June 17th and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children while working within an educational setting.
You’ll help manage a caseload of around 40 students across four local schools, providing both direct therapy and collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff. Hours typically run from approximately 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and there’s a strong potential for contract renewal—including extended school year (ESY) opportunities—based on performance and district needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- School-based or pediatric experience is highly valued, but strong clinical candidates will also be considered
- Proficient in implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and travel between multiple school sites during the day
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy services tailored to students’ individual needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate therapy documentation
- Deliver interventions within educational environments to help students achieve mobility and physical function goals
- Educate families and teachers on student support strategies
