Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy license issued by the state of New Hampshire
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Prior experience in school-based OT preferred, with a solid understanding of student development
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working alongside educators, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough student assessments, evaluating physical development and self-regulation to determine needs and establish supportive strategies
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans targeting individual student objectives and optimal school placement
- Identify and address environmental challenges, making recommendations to promote a fully accessible, inclusive learning space
- Consult with teachers and staff to ensure integration of occupational therapy strategies in daily routines
- Document progress and adapt interventions as needed to maximize student achievement
