Step into a rewarding per diem opportunity supporting K-8 students as a dedicated paraprofessional and Registered Behavior Technician. This flexible role provides meaningful one-on-one interaction, engaging with students who have Level 3 Autism and making a real difference in their daily school experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified or credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Paraprofessional, or experienced Behavior Specialist
- Demonstrated experience working with Level 3 Autism populations in a professional environment
- Prefer prior experience within a school setting
- Skilled and confident with moderate to severe behaviors, including non-verbal students
- Comfortable assisting with toileting as needed
- Additional training such as CIP/Restraint or De-escalation experience is a plus
Your Role Includes:
- Providing compassionate, attentive, and individualized care to K-8 students on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting students with daily school routine, academics, and activities as directed by classroom teachers and behavior plans
- Supporting inclusion, communication, and classroom engagement for students with diverse and significant needs
- Fostering a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment
- Maintaining clear documentation and communication with staff as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.42 to $40.42. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
