- Represent the lift prop hardware in flight testing
- Coordinate and conduct testing of lift propeller and associated components
- Prepare and instrument systems for testing
- Where necessary, design or interface with design engineers for creation of custom testing equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience of testing mechanical systems
- At least 3-5 years of test procedure drafting and execution
- Hands on testing of mechanical systems
- Data collection and distillation with MATLAB and Excel
- Test procedure drafting and execution
- Data acquisition hardware/software programming and use in LabVIEW and other
- Ability to obtain CIDA badge with driving privileges
Above and Beyond Qualifications:
- Experience in testing fatigue rated components
- Hydraulic system use and maintenance
- Flight test plan execution
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Onsite engineering at our BTV, PGB and St Albans facility
