Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide focused 1:1 nursing care to a middle school student. This contract position supports the students health needs during the school day, enhancing their ability to fully participate in educational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to a middle school student requiring specialized health management
- Perform tracheostomy (trach) care with precision and adherence to medical protocols
- Monitor the students condition and respond promptly to any health concerns
- Coordinate with school staff and healthcare providers to maintain consistent care
- Assist with safe transportation routines including bus riding supervision as needed
Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN licensure
- Experience with tracheostomy care and skilled in pediatric nursing practices
- Comfortable providing care in a school setting with middle school-aged children
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with educators, families, and medical teams
- Ability to manage responsibilities in a contract role from January 20 through June 1, 2026
Location & Schedule:
- Position based near Milford, Massachusetts, supporting a middle school student
- Contract duration coincides with the current school year (CSY), from 1/20 to 6/1/26
