Compensation

Weekly Pay (Travel): $1,322

Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Technician (Phlebotomy) to provide high-quality patient care through accurate specimen collection and processing. This role serves as a critical frontline support for laboratory services and requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent patient service.
Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks on ambulatory and bedridden patients

Collect, label, and process laboratory specimens in accordance with established guidelines

Register patients and accurately enter physician orders into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
-
Deliver courteous and professional customer service to patients and clinical staff

Identify and resolve specimen-related issues, escalating when appropriate

Rotate between multiple laboratory collection sites (minimum of three locations)

Perform occasional STAT draws at nursing homes, patient residences, or physician offices

Participate in on-call rotation as required

Maintain phlebotomy supplies and ensure cleanliness of all draw areas
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Completion of a basic phlebotomy training program or relevant phlebotomy work experience

Valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Working knowledge of HIPAA and basic healthcare compliance standards

Strong verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification
-
Knowledge of medical terminology
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
