Our Philosophy
The philosophy of Learning By The Lakes Academy Inc. is that children deserve the opportunity to learn, be creative, and explore through meaningful, hands-on experiences. We believe children thrive when provided with stability, structure, and consistent routines, along with the appropriate tools and support to be successful.
We strongly believe that children learn in many different ways. Learning through play and hands-on experiences enriches young minds and fosters curiosity, exploration, and independence.
We also believe children should be given the opportunity to do dangerous things carefully. By allowing children to explore their environment, take appropriate risks, and push their limits, we help build confidence, resilience, self-worth, and independence—while remaining close by to ensure their safety.
