Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit on 4th floor of main building
\n• 23-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratio
\n• Day shift staffing includes 6-7 RNs and 2 aides
\n• Night shift staffing includes 6-7 RNs and 2 aides
\n• Work with bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow oxygen, chronic vents, and subdural drains
\n• Use Meditech EMR system
\n• Perform typical procedures including chest tubes and EEGs
\n• Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED
\n• Weekend schedule every other weekend with no on-call requirement
\n• Professional scrubs required with no specific color requirement
\n• Must have telemetry and step-down experience - candidates without these skills will not be considered
\n• Preferred experience in neuro and trauma
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
\n• Preferred certifications: NHISS and TNCC
\n• Must be team oriented
