$260,000 to $450,000 Base Salary (Comprehensive elite-market benefits and performance-based bonus structure included)

§ Duties:
The Associate or Counsel joining this Tier 1 Technology Transactions group will serve as a primary legal architect for high-stakes intellectual property and commercial initiatives. The role involves high-level advisory work for life sciences and technology companies, focusing on the development and commercialization of breakthrough innovations.
⨖ Orchestrating the structuring and negotiation of sophisticated license agreements, strategic alliances, and global research collaborations.
⨖ Providing expert counsel on intricate distribution, manufacturing, and development service agreements within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.
⨖ Partnering with corporate and M&A teams to conduct specialized IP due diligence and draft intellectual property components of mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments.
⨖ Managing a high volume of complex joint ventures and outsourcing transactions that frequently redefine industry standards in science and tech.
⨖ Collaborating with regulatory and tax specialists to ensure that cross-border commercial agreements are optimized for global compliance and fiscal efficiency.
§ Qualifications:
⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited institution with an exceptional academic pedigree.
⨖ Active Bar License in good standing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
⨖ Five to seven (5-7) Years of dedicated experience in technology transactions, specifically focused on life sciences or hardware/software licensing.
⨖ Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex, multi-party commercial contracts.
⨖ Demonstrated ability to manage significant deal flow and lead transaction teams in a fast-paced, elite law firm environment.
§ Skills:
⨖ An advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a life sciences discipline such as biology, chemistry, or biomedical engineering is highly preferred.
⨖ Experience with international licensing regimes and cross-border IP enforcement strategies.
⨖ Significant experience in "deal sheet" management, showcasing a history of lead roles in high-value collaborations.
⨖ Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to translate complex technical legal issues for C-suite executives and scientific founders.
