Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide speech-language pathology support for a specialized high school program designed for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This contract opportunity is based in Ludlow, MA, offering part-time hours during the Extended School Year (ESY) from early July through early August 2026, with potential extension into the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to high school students within the Compass High Program, a personalized educational setting focused on building independence.
- Provide Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) support experience, primarily through direct services rather than evaluations.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to tailor interventions that meet individualized student goals.
- Maintain documentation and comply with state requirements and program standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed for school settings (SLP-CCC preferred).
- Valid state licensure and compliance with required educational state mandates.
- Experience working with adolescents, particularly those with ASD or similar learning differences.
- Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week over 2-3 days in Ludlow, MA.
Location: Ludlow, Massachusetts (work assignment at Ludlow High School; client main office is in West Springfield, but the role is onsite in Ludlow).
