Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting located in Worcester, MA. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated and licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking to work onsite during the current school year (CSY). The position offers a caseload that will be determined based on student needs, averaging approximately 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory and school district standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts SLP License required
- Credentials aligned with Certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods and clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion beneficial
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
