This is a full-time salaried role with a Monday-Friday schedule, 8-5pm EST, with a rotating late day once a week to support late staff until 7pm.
Title: Clinical Intake Supervisor
Reports to: Director, Central Intake
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary:
The Clinical Intake Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical intake process, ensuring that clients are appropriately screened, assessed, and transitioned into care with efficiency and compassion. This role manages a team of intake therapists, provides direct supervision, and collaborates across departments to ensure intake operations meet quality, compliance, and performance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of intake therapists, ensuring high-quality clinical assessments and documentation.
- Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and mentorship to staff, ensuring best practices in client evaluation.
- Monitor performance metrics, including projected vs. scheduled, completed vs. scheduled, admitted vs. completed, and program admissions.
- Collaborate with the Central Intake team to ensure smooth handoffs and client-centered workflows.
- Partner with leadership to implement process improvements and address barriers to client access.
- Conduct regular chart reviews, QA checks, and compliance monitoring.
- Participate in workforce planning, onboarding, and training of new intake staff
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field; licensure required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- 5+ years of clinical experience with 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of intake assessment, care coordination, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience managing performance against metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a centralized call center or virtual care setting.
- Familiarity with acute mental health services or care coordination.
- Experience training or mentoring peers in a healthcare or customer-facing role.
- Exposure to workforce management, quality assurance, or operational coordination in a clinical intake setting.
Pay Range$105,000—$115,000 USD
