Kitchen Sync and Vermont Artisan Designs are adjoining stores on Main Street in downtown Brattleboro, VT. Kitchen Sync is a well-stocked home kitchen store. Vermont Artisan Designs is an award-winning gallery of American craft with a large fine art collection, spread across two levels. We're looking for a detail-oriented salesperson and assistant manager to work across both stores. If you love helping people and appreciate good kitchen tools, beautiful craft and fine art, we'd love to meet you.
You'll welcome customers in both stores and help them find the right cookware, gifts, craft or artwork; share product knowledge, cooking tips, and the stories behind our artists and makers; run the register, handle transactions accurately, and take care of gift-wrapping and shipping; keep both sales floors and gallery displays stocked, organized and looking their best; receive and check in deliveries and help track inventory; support the owner with day-to-day operations; and open or close as needed.
We're looking for workers with a genuine commitment to customer care; strong attention to detail; good communication skills; friendly, reliable working as a team member or independently; available for weekends.
We offer starting pay of $17 per hour; discounts at both stores; paid parking; full-time or part-time schedules with flexibility; a welcoming small-business team in the heart of downtown Brattleboro.
