Qualifications:

  • Active SLP CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Experience with pediatric or adolescent populations, especially in a school or healthcare setting
  • Proficient in assessment, intervention, and documentation
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for school-based therapy

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities, developing appropriate Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to middle school students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate strategies in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes, adhering to state and district regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers to support student progress
