Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position supports preschool students in both intensive needs and general education classrooms within an elementary school setting. The role is part-time, running Monday through Thursday for 26 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM, for a full semester contract ending June 17, 2026.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with classroom activities tailored to the developmental and educational needs of preschool students
  • Providing support in both intensive needs and general education settings
  • Collaborating with the teaching staff to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Adapting to possible classroom changes and supporting flexible learning environments
  • Working closely with the Special Education population following district guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Prior paraprofessional or child-related professional experience
  • Experience and/or training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
  • Comfortable and experienced working with students with special needs
  • Reliable transportation to and from the school
  • Successful completion of district fingerprinting and onboarding processes
  • One professional reference completed prior to submission
  • Ability to participate in a Zoom interview
