Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role supports a unique program designed for high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The position focuses on delivering personalized, supportive education aimed at fostering independence beyond traditional classroom settings.

Location and Schedule:

  • Assignment location: Ludlow, MA (clients main office in West Springfield, assignment onsite in Ludlow)
  • Program: Compass High Program at Ludlow High School
  • Hours: 32.5 hours per week
  • Duration: Estimated 8/27/2026 6/22/2027 (subject to final school calendar)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services to high school students within the specialized Compass High Program
  • Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as part of caseload management
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies tailored to students with ASD and other learning differences
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans to support students' functional communication and independence goals

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid state licensure as an SLP meeting Massachusetts requirements
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings, ideally with high school populations and specialized programs for ASD
  • Strong ability to supervise and mentor an SLPA
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered environment
