Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Virtual Special Education Teacher position is available to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while delivering high-quality education tailored to individual student requirements.
Location: Remote (serving students in New Hampshire)
Type: Contract, 1099 assignment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with each student's unique needs
- Deliver virtual instruction using digital platforms and tools to engage and support students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate updates regularly
- Utilize behavior management strategies and accommodations to promote positive learning environments
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification or licensure
- Experience working with students requiring special education services, preferably in virtual settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students effectively online
- Proficiency with educational technology and virtual teaching platforms
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote environment
