Four compassionate and dedicated individuals are needed to serve in both one-on-one and classroom support roles at a thriving high school environment, offering meaningful opportunities to make an impact throughout the academic year.
This contract position is ideal for those who are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere and who enjoy working closely with students and instructional staff. The assignment runs from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a consistent daytime schedule of 7:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a school setting as a paraprofessional
- High school diploma required; no additional certifications or higher education necessary
- Ability to work effectively in both 1:1 and classroom environments, adapting to various student needs
- Three completed professional references, including one from your most recent manager, required prior to the interview process
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to supporting student learning
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing classroom activities and managing student behavior
- Provide individualized support for students, as assigned
- Foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging environment for all learners
- Monitor student progress and report observations to instructional staff
- Help prepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, organized space
