Our client, a successful & growing law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their legal team in Boston, Massachusetts. This position is suited for an attorney with a background handling sophisticated commercial disputes and an interest in areas such as employment matters, business conflicts, and construction-related litigation. The role offers the opportunity to manage substantive casework, appear in court, and contribute strategically throughout the litigation process.


Location: Boston, MA

Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 (depending on experience) + bonuses + amazing benefits


Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial litigation matters through all stages of the dispute process, from initial case assessment through resolution, settlement, or trial.
  • Represent clients in a wide range of business disputes, including employment matters, partnership and shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty claims, breach of contract actions, and construction-related litigation.
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other court filings.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and develop litigation strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients in state and federal courts, including arguing motions, attending hearings, and participating in case management conferences.
  • Oversee all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery requests and managing document production.
  • Manage electronically stored information discovery processes, including preservation, collection, review, and production.
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal teams to evaluate claims, assess litigation risks, and formulate case strategies.
  • Participate in settlement discussions, mediations, arbitrations, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trial testimony.
  • Maintain regular client communication and provide practical, strategic legal counsel throughout the litigation process.
