Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and document detailed case histories from the initial consultation through the course of treatment, ensuring accuracy and clarity in client records.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to provide personalized treatment insights and guidance.
- Develop and implement effective intervention and recovery plans tailored to individuals, couples, families, or groups as appropriate.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to engage clients in their therapeutic journeys.
- Monitor and document client progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate consistently with other mental health specialists, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and enhance client well-being.
- Follow up with clients who have been admitted to the hospital, liaising with attending physicians to provide ongoing support and care recommendations.
- Identify behaviors that may hinder recovery and implement strategies to address these challenges proactively.
- Assist family members and primary caregivers in managing mental and behavioral challenges to promote a supportive environment for the client.

Qualifications\n

- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
- An outstanding pass score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE).
- Proven experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse client needs effectively.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage client information and treatment documentation efficiently.
- Familiarity with effective interventions for co-occurring physical health and emotional conditions, alongside knowledge of addiction disorders.
- Solid knowledge of best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and insight into the pharmacological interactions of commonly prescribed medications.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal skills that convey empathy and understanding.

Compensation and Benefits\n
This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
