Location: Carlisle, Massachusetts 01741
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Friday to Sunday
Caregiver Rate: $25 per hour

We are seeking an experienced, calm, and reliable helper to support a male client with severe end-stage dementia. The client is mobile and ambulates independently but may become agitated during personal care, particularly bathing and toileting. A caregiver with strong dementia-care skills and the ability to redirect behavior safely and respectfully is essential.

Care Responsibilities

Morning Routine:

Assistance with toileting, bathing, and dressing
Maintain a calm, reassuring presence during personal care
Clean the bathroom as needed after use
Change bed linens and complete client laundry
Assist the client in transitioning safely to the living room after morning care

Evening Routine:

Assist with toileting
Help the client get settled and safely into bed

Schedule

Friday to Sunday
Morning: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM (2 hours)
Evening: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM (1 hour)

Caregiver Preferences

Proven experience working with advanced dementia patients
Skilled in de-escalation and redirection techniques
Calm, patient, and emotionally regulated demeanor
BLS or First Aid certification required
Comfortable managing occasional agitation while prioritizing safety and dignity
